Chace Crawford Taking Zac Efron's Place in Footloose?

Zac Efron chose to drop out of the remake of Footloose, but claimed he did not quit the film to stay away from musicals. The High School Musical and Hairspray star added that he's just "looking for a new challenge" at the moment.



Rumor has it, though, that Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford did a good job at the Footloose audition. Do you think he can make a great Ren McCormack? Well, he certainly looks a lot like the first choice for the role--he and Zac even have the same hairstyle!

Miley Cyrus Crying at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2009

The Rock dressed up as Miley Cyrus at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2009 before surprising the young singer/actress with the Favorite Female Singer Kids' Choice Award! Miley got a little emotional as she teared up, saying, "I don't know why I'm crying, but I really thought I was gonna lose."

With Alicia Keys, Rihanna and Beyonce as her fellow nominees, I guess the result really came as a big surpise. Here's a video clip of the "Miley Moment":

Paul Walker and Jordana Brewster get teamed up once again in Fast & Furious, coming out in April. They went to Spain to promote the new film.



At a recent press conference, Walker said the best installment is yet to come: "I don't think the best one yet has been made yet. If we were to make a fifth one? That would be the best one in my mind. Otherwise, let's not do it."



Bet they can make the fast, furious experience even more exciting, especially with Paul, Jordana, and of course, Vin Diesel, in the cast.

In the April issue of GQ magazine, Emma Roberts definitely doesn't look like little Addie Singer from Nickelodeon's Unfabulous anymore. Emma has blossomed into a beautiful young woman who looks confident and sexy without revealing too much in a basic white tank. She's one of the few Hollywood youngsters who have never been caught flashing private parts, driving under the influence, taking parking slots for the handicapped or whatever kids on TV or the big screen have been up to the past few years.

The Jonas Brothers' Fourth Album: Out in June!

It's a big year for the Jonas Brothers! They're going on their world tour soon and launching their fourth album, Lines, Vines and Trying Times, in June 2009. Nick Jonas spills a little bit about the JoBros' new material to Billboard.com, saying they will be sharing more "personal experiences" through their music, describing the upcoming album as their "journal in songs."

The new twist that I'm pretty excited to hear is the more poetic lyrics. "We've also been working on trying to use metaphors," says Nick. Looks like the brothers are growing up, but I hope they won't outgrow their trademark energetic, fun performances just yet.
